Veronica’s parents owned a company that was doing well until their demise, deeming her chances of going to Art school. One day while sitting on the train Veronica’s life would change forever. The train is nearly empty except for three men who end up raping and physically abusing her, leaving her to die in an alley. In her state, she’s unaware of the shadow of a man looming towards her. As a new member, her loyalty was constantly tested, but having lost her self esteem, she took on every challenge with more enthusiasm than she knew she ever possessed. Whatever the Master required of her, she did, and soon she became The Master’s best pupil. After six months, the Master makes a grand announcement of going out and making their star shine by attacking treasuries, banks, and wealthy people. The blackmail forced the Russians to give the Master the weapons and software they would need in future heists.
Episode 6
Episode 6 (Live or Let Die?) Veronica had finally found a new purpose, giving her entire being into The Master’s will. She completed all of The Master’s assignments successfully and as the big heist approaches, The Master brings in a new 17- year old girl, badly wounded and bleeding profusely by the same men who had raped Veronica. The Master gives Veronica the order and green light to take revenge and kill the rapists. She then finds Tony, Greg, and Kyle in their hideout and Veronica gives them a battle they had never seen, leaving them in very critical condition but something inside Veronica wouldn’t let her murder. The Master is clearly upset that Veronica couldn't carry out the full assignment and so he confronts her about her shortcomings in front of the other students. Veronica is humiliated by The Master as a punishment and lesson and this was the beginning of her falling out with The Master.
As days pass, the big heist is conducted successfully, and Veronica secures a large sum of money. She decides to rent a studio apartment and begin a brand new life that is not directly reliant on The Master. That single decision was the start of her fallout with The Master.
Episode 7
Episode 7 (Warning Shots) Veronica now had a clear grasp of how one event led to another. The law of cause and effect had taken its course. Little did she know that the love of her life, Jake, would be bailing her out of jail and helping her clear her name. However, this would not be a walk in the park, as the enmity between The Master and Veronica grew deeper. One of The Master’s loose ends, Lawyer Harley is shot dead by Tyler, the snipper. Veronica and Jake go on a hideout for a few days as they wait for normalcy to return. Her friend Rochelle called to notify them that Hanley Cafe, which Jakes owns, was going bankrupt due to the current situation. Most of the investors had pulled out of the business recently.
Consequently, her artwork had been vandalized by unknown people. She requested Rochelle and an officer to check things out at her apartment. Unfortunately, Tyler, The Master’s killer, would be waiting for them. The officer is killed, and Rochelle is kidnapped. A call made to Veronica demands her to plead guilty on all the charges before her, failure to which her friend Rochelle would suffer like Samara. It was at that moment Veronica realized that she had screwed not only her life and that of Jake but also endangered the life of Rochelle. She understands that at this point she must do the unthinkable, kill Tyler.
Episode 8

She remembers abduction tips that she had recently read and decides to try her luck. Fortunately, she attracts a truck driver's attention who comes to her rescue, but Tyler stabs him to death, and he takes Rochelle with him to The Master. Ken-Doll confronts him about the killing of an officer, a civilian, and the abduction of Rochelle. Though betrayed by Veronica, Ken-Doll feels things aren’t right. The Master promises her that no one will harm Rochelle.
On the hearing day, Leo, the investigator, brings in new evidence proving Veronica is innocent. The footage shows that The Master had set her up, and Veronica would not be guilty if this evidence were taken to court. However, any decision they were going to make would affect the fate of Rochelle. Filled with anger about Rochelle’s mistreatment, Ken-Doll decides to call it off with The Master and rescues her. Later that night, the crew reconnects, and Rochelle is taken to the hospital. All the charges against Veronica are dropped with this evidence, and she decides to take the battle to The Master. She calls a press conference and spills all the beans about him. The Master is now filled with furry because war has been declared on him.

She realizes that to win his attention, blackmail would be the only option. At the party, Veronica threatens to play the video that was taped a few years back of him having sex with her. She demands her own copy of a hacking software similar to the one which The Master has and the ambassador has no way but to oblige to her demands.
Later that night, Veronica finds Umberto, the money stasher who The Master had hired. Things go haywire, but Veronica gets another important piece in the puzzle, the Master’s real name. Veronica locates Umberto’s warehouse and learns that The Master’s mother has been in hospital. Suddenly his bodyguard storms in, and a fight starts.
